KIPP Inspire Academy

Our Mission:

KIPP Inspire Academy's mission is to inspire students to develop the character and academic skills necessary to succeed in high school and college so that they can build a better tomorrow for themselves and us all.

KIA opened in July 2009 with 80 fifth grade students. KIA has added a new grade each year and now educates more than 240 students in grades five, six, and seven. In July 2012, the addition of an eighth grade will complete the middle school, with a total capacity to serve 320 students.

In the first two years of operation, KIA has had a strong track record of accelerating the learning of all students – students who enter fifth grade far behind their grade level academically. Because of the strong no excuses culture at KIPP, these academic delays are not seen as impediments to learning, but rather motivation for our teachers.

Enrollment for 2012-2013 school year is now being offered to students who will be in the fifth, sixth and seventh grades next year. Click here for an application.
